Our Staff Spotlight this week . . .

Deb Delong: Multimedia, Yearbook, and Cresthill Action News Network (CANN)

I’m a teacher because I believe that it’s the greatest profession on earth! Everyday is a truly different adventure! It never gets old because students always bring something new to the table. I particularly love teaching middle school students because it’s such a unique time in their lives! It’s great to watch them grow into young adults! I teach Broadcasting (CANN), Yearbook and Multimedia at Cresthill and love, love, love to teach design, storytelling, and video editing skills!

Something people don’t know about me is that I’m a HUGE dog lover! I have 2 Golden Retrievers, 1 Morkie and 1 Weimaraner. My husband and I have 4 children from the age of 30 all the way down to 10. The older 3 are grown and on their own, so whenever we get together to spend time outdoors with the dogs...I’m in my happy place!

    At Cresthill: Since 2016

Our Staff Spotlight this week . . .

    Mary Demolli, Theater Arts Teacher

I have worked at Cresthill for 11 years as an English, speech, yearbook, literacy, and drama teacher. My plan was to be a professor of Shakespeare but when I student taught at Cresthill for secondary English, I fell in love with the wacky kids and the teachers with the best sense of humor. I always tell the students that I have the best job in the school. I get to play with costumes and remind the kids how to pretend. Of course there is a lot more involved but that is the best part.

I have been married for almost 32 years and have a 29 year old son, a 27 year old daughter and a 16 year old son. I am from a family of nine children and grew up in Littleton. No matter how far I moved away I have never stayed away long.

I love the outdoors; kayaking, skiing, golfing, hiking, biking, and anything that will keep me young.
